Our data protection principles:
Data collection, use and disclosure
Control over your data
Within the framework of legal requirements, you have the right at any time to
obtain information about your personal data stored by us,
have incorrect data corrected,
request the deletion or restriction of processing,
object to processing, and
request the transfer of your data in a structured, commonly used format.
If you wish to exercise any of these rights or have questions about the use of your data, please contact us using the contact details provided in the legal notice. In addition, you have the right to complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates data protection law.
Data security
The security of your data is a high priority for us. We use the technical security measures of our provider Wix (e.g., encrypted connections via HTTPS) for our website and contact form and implement organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access. Please note that despite all due care, data transmission over the internet (e.g., communication via email or WhatsApp) can have security vulnerabilities over which we have no complete control.
Contact via the form
When you use our “Request a place at the MaJa learning studio” form, we collect the data you enter. This includes in particular:
Name of the child
Name of the contact person (parent/legal guardian)
Email address
Phone number (if provided)
Age and grade of the child
Selected learning areas (e.g., mathematics, physics, chemistry, German)
Your freely formulated message to us.
We process this data in order to process your request, arrange an introductory meeting, and—if we decide to work together—prepare and carry out our learning support. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (initiation or fulfillment of a contract) and, if applicable, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient communication).
The data is initially stored in our Wix account and also processed further in our internal communications (e.g., email, notes for appointment preparation, if applicable). We do not pass on your data to third parties for advertising purposes. Data is only passed on if this is necessary for the fulfillment of the contract (e.g., technical service providers) or if we are legally obliged to do so.
If no cooperation results from the inquiry, we will delete the data after a reasonable period of time or restrict its processing, provided that this does not conflict with any legal retention obligations.
Data security
For online lessons, introductory meetings, and discussions, we generally use the service “Microsoft Teams,” a product offered by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA.
When using Microsoft Teams, personal data is processed, e.g., name, contact details provided, content of audio/video transmissions and chat messages, technical connection data (IP address, device information).
Processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (implementation of pre-contractual measures and fulfillment of the contractual relationship) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient and modern communication).
Microsoft processes the data on our behalf and may also transfer data to third countries (including the USA). We have concluded the agreements required under Art. 28 GDPR with Microsoft, and the standard contractual clauses approved by the EU Commission apply. For more information on data processing by Microsoft, please refer to Microsoft's privacy policy.
Communication via WhatsApp
When you contact us via WhatsApp, we process your phone number, the display name you have chosen, and the content you have transmitted (e.g., messages, files). We use this data exclusively to respond to your inquiries, to coordinate appointments, and in the context of existing learning support.
The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited (for users residing in the European Economic Area) or WhatsApp LLC (USA). Communications may be processed on servers outside the EU/EEA. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (contract/contract initiation) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in fast and uncomplicated communication).
If you do not want your data to be processed via WhatsApp, you can contact us by email at any time.

When you visit our website, Wix automatically processes certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, time of access, and pages visited, in order to deliver the website and ensure the security and stability of its operation.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and functional provision of the website). Wix may also process data on servers outside the EU/EEA. According to Wix, appropriate safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) are used in this process. For more information about data processing by Wix, please refer to Wix's privacy policy.
